The Jellybean Festival is a celebration of all things jellybean. Citizens are encouraged to dress up in jellybean costumes or wear clothes that bear a jellybean mark. At the end of the festival, a parade with floats drives through Harajuku, where a music act is selected to perform on the grand "Jellybean of Honor" float. In the episode Yummy Bear Nado, HJ5 is selected. It was also revealed that HJ5 are the reason that the event was able to occur this year due to Love's weather device.
